Never share your seed phrase, exchange passwords or 2FA information with this website
We only request information open to the public. Not all the following information is needed to open an investigation. Provide what information you can. We value your privacy as it should be. We will never ask for a name, phone number, address, only an email and description of the transaction is required.
This unique identifier is created every time a transaction is broadcasted to a blockchain. Whether it is Bitcoin, ERC-20(ETH), BEP-20(BSC), Solana, Doge...every transaction leaves a digital footprint in the form of a transaction hash.
These could simply be your wallet addresses for a non-custodial wallet (MetaMask, Ledger, Coinbase Wallet) which would give us a starting point on what transpired. Send addresses (This is the address you sent the crypto to) can be useful as well. I can also provide recovery information if the crypto was sent to an exchange or custodial wallet (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken).
Information such as when the transaction was initiated, what crypto was sent, how much was sent, which blockchain was utilized and what was the end goal (i.e. Stake ETH on Lido) is very useful.
Our investigative step includes applying various tools and resources to figure out what happened during your transaction.
During this step we may ask additional questions to further our investigation into your case. We may have additional communication options if a real time conversation is warranted on a case by case basis.
Once the investigation is complete, you will receive a report on our findings. This may include where the crypto is located currently and if there are any recovery options. Once again, if crypto was sent to an address that is not in custody of either yourself or an exchange, the likelihood of recovery is small.
Please be aware, if crypto was sent to an address that is not in custody of either yourself or an exchange, the likelihood of recovery is small. The nature of the crypto space leaves little room for error as it was intended since almost all transactions have no 3rd party involvement. Please visit our crypto tips on ways to minimize your risk of loss.
Recovered crypto would never go through our addresses, nor would we hold any information in ransom of payment. If any crypto is recovered or found, instructions will be in the Final Report of Investigation.
We love working in this space. Currently recovery services are either few and far between or charge hefty prices for their service. We are a donation only organization and we will keep it that way in perpetuity. We enjoy educating the public about the crypto space in hopes of advancing this technology into mass adoption. QR codes and addresses for various cryptocurrencies are available on the Donations Page.
